About

Passion. Experience. Diligence.

Bio

As a tenured Executive Director with experience managing a $10m P&L, Emily Chapman Richards coaches her clients on strategic planning, building an operating rhythm for your organization, and governing and managing a board. The aim of Emily’s work is to recover the sanctity of childhood and she is driven by a deep passion for children to experience belonging and flourishing within the love of a family and community.

Most recently, Emily served as the Executive Director of Show Hope, a nationally recognized non-profit organization that exists to care for orphans by engaging the Church and reducing barriers to adoption. Since Show Hope’s inception in 2003, more than 8,600 children from 60+ countries, including the U.S., have come to know the love and security of a permanent family with the help of Show Hope Adoption Aid grants. Emily is honored to currently serve as an advisor to Show Hope.

Emily met her husband, Tanner, on a blind date at the local Starbucks. Married in 2008, Emily and Tanner are the proud parents of three beautiful young women—Eiley, Della, and Verity. As a perpetual nerd, lover of learning, and visionary, when not working on a project you’ll find Emily holed up in a cafe enjoying a long chat with a friend over a good cuppa coffee.
