Me: I'm a child of God, wife to Tanner Richards, and mother to three girlies Eiley, Della, and Verity. I'm the daughter of Grammy and Dove Award winning recording artist, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Mary Beth Chapman, New York Times bestselling author. I'm proud to be a Nashville native (we currently reside in Franklin, TN). I thoroughly enjoy traveling and I love talking theology over a cup of coffee. I'm a visionary and a dreamer; a passionate advocate for adoption and orphan care efforts and currently serve alongside the staff at Show Hope as the Executive Director. Show Hope is a nationally recognized voice in adoption advocacy and child welfare work. I am a perpetual nerd and lover of learning. I graduated from Baylor University ('07) with a BA in International Studies/Religion, and I received my Master of Theology (MTh) degree from Queen's University, Belfast in 2012. My MTh dissertation, entitled "A Theological Inquiry on the Practice of the Adoption of Children with Complex Disability," can be found by CLICKING HERE.
This Site: "Heaven and earth," as the Celtic saying goes, "are only three feet apart, but in thin places that distance is even shorter." I believe these moments are happening in our daily lives; in the obvious, and the subtle; in the triumphs, and the crash landings. It is our joy, in the truest sense, to work alongside the Holy Spirit to foster within ourselves a greater awareness of these moments. And so, for me and for you, I hope that this is an intentional space. I endeavor to write as a way of identifying, celebrating, and reflecting upon 'thin moments' in my own life, and in doing so, hope to encourage you to do the same.
